Online Services

Sunday @ 10 am      Wednesday @ 6:30pm

Dear Church of the Heights Family,
Thank you for tuning in last Sunday , we are thankful for technology and to be able to reach our city with multiple streams.
We want to continue to provide up-to-date information to our church family as it pertains to all the ministries at Church of the Heights.
Based on the current recommendations from government and health officials, we will be postponing all on campus activities until further recommendation.
This includes Wednesday services and ministries (Vertical Youth student ministry , Rangers, Misionettes & Kids of the Heights)
This emphasis and all associated events will be rescheduled at a later time.
In addition to these adjustments, we will also be streaming online our Night of Worship scheduled for Palm Sunday, April 5th.
We have made these decisions out of a desire to fully cooperate with our officials who are working hard to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout our country.
We believe full cooperation is the best demonstration of our faith, our love for neighbors, and the Biblical way to submit to governing authorities.
Our team is continuing to work hard to stay fully informed so we can best protect our community and our church family.
Please continue to stay informed through our social media pages & by calling our office with any concerns or questions, and help us share accurate information with our community and church family.
To summarize:
Postponed Events:
• All on-campus gatherings
Let’s pray and put our trust and hope in the Lord. Let’s also look for ways to choose faith over fear through this situation.
Please follow all the guidelines given by our government and health officials. Stay safe and hopeful. We look forward to seeing you again and In the meanwhile, we will work to keep you informed and connected through technology and social media.

Kids Ministry

We are committed to creating safe and fun environments where your children are taught about the Bible and the love of Jesus through relevant, age-appropriate kids services. Our ultimate hope is to see a generation of children come to know God at an early age.

Youth Ministry

Our goal is to help take students on a spiritual journey as they follow Christ. We accomplish this by helping them Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Making a Difference. As students take these steps they will grow closer to God, have great relationships, and learn how to serve and lead in the church. We believe that students who are connected to a life-giving church and healthy relationships can follow Jesus for a lifetime, and they will use their gifts and passions to make an impact on earth.

Small Groups

Small Groups exist to bring people together. Everyone desires to be a part of a community of like minded people. Small Groups is where you will find others that get you. As a community of friends, you will grow closer to God and enjoy life.

Here is how you can help.

Josh and Angie Hobbs have been serving together in ministry since 2001. For 15 years, they have led as Media, Young Married, Executive and Lead Pastors in Birmingham and Mobile, Alabama. Now, they passionately lead Church of the Heights.

Pastor Josh sets the example of servant leadership as Christ did. His desire is to serve like Jesus by washing the feet of His disciples. Pastor teaches “The true way to show the love of Christ is to serve as Christ. No one will believe that you love them until you show them as Jesus did, by sacrifice.”

Pastor Angie has BS in Nursing and works for BlueFish Medical. Angie is a working mom who understands the challenges that today’s women face. As the Women’s Director, Angie wants to equip ladies to be everything that God has called them to be and have fun doing it. “Life is as fulfilling as you make it. Plan to succeed and press on when you don’t”.

Under their direction, we are reaching new heights in our personal relationship with God, in the family and in the community.
