Church of The Heights Family,

In the last several weeks, we have monitored guidelines and best practices for gathering in a safe way.

After a significant amount of prayer and preparation, we plan to resume services at Church of The Heights on the weekend of May 17th.

We’re committed to creating an environment that meets government recommendations for safety. To make that possible, our weekend services have been redesigned to create a sanitary, touchless environment that allows for physical distancing.

Kids of The Heights will be open and resuming activities as well.

Let’s Work Together to Stay Healthy

What We’re Doing:

  • Additional hand-sanitizing stations are  placed throughout the building.
  • No offering buckets will be passed. Instead, there will be an area in the foyer for guests who want to give.

How You Can Help:

  • If you don’t feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us at Church of The Heights Live Stream.
  • We encourage you to wear a mask.
  • Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet between yourself and other guests.

Church of The Heights Online

For the past several weeks, we’ve been grateful for the ability to worship together  Online, and we encourage you to continue to attend Church of The Heights online if  you or a family member doesn’t feel well, or if you’re just not ready to attend church at a physical location.

Kids Ministry

We are committed to creating safe and fun environments where your children are taught about the Bible and the love of Jesus through relevant, age-appropriate kids services. Our ultimate hope is to see a generation of children come to know God at an early age.

Youth Ministry

Our goal is to help take students on a spiritual journey as they follow Christ. We accomplish this by helping them Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Making a Difference. As students take these steps they will grow closer to God, have great relationships, and learn how to serve and lead in the church. We believe that students who are connected to a life-giving church and healthy relationships can follow Jesus for a lifetime, and they will use their gifts and passions to make an impact on earth.

Small Groups

Small Groups exist to bring people together. Everyone desires to be a part of a community of like minded people. Small Groups is where you will find others that get you. As a community of friends, you will grow closer to God and enjoy life.

Here is how you can help.

Josh and Angie Hobbs have been serving together in ministry since 2001. For 15 years, they have led as Media, Young Married, Executive and Lead Pastors in Birmingham and Mobile, Alabama. Now, they passionately lead Church of the Heights.

Pastor Josh sets the example of servant leadership as Christ did. His desire is to serve like Jesus by washing the feet of His disciples. Pastor teaches “The true way to show the love of Christ is to serve as Christ. No one will believe that you love them until you show them as Jesus did, by sacrifice.”

Pastor Angie has BS in Nursing and works for BlueFish Medical. Angie is a working mom who understands the challenges that today’s women face. As the Women’s Director, Angie wants to equip ladies to be everything that God has called them to be and have fun doing it. “Life is as fulfilling as you make it. Plan to succeed and press on when you don’t”.

Under their direction, we are reaching new heights in our personal relationship with God, in the family and in the community.
